General Practice Trainers Entry Course (GP TEC) – Training Development Collaborative (TDC) (formerly FDA)

Scottish GP Trainer Entry Course (GPTEC)

The GP Trainers Entry Course (GP TEC) has been specifically developed for those Scottish GPs wishing to become GP Educational Supervisors. This course is a mandatory requirement for those wishing to achieve Approved GP Trainer status.

Each course takes place over a period of 5 weeks and delegates are required to sign-up to and complete all components of their chosen course. It involves 3 small group sessions, the first two taking place online via Adobe Connect and the third being face-to-face. As well as these sessions, delegates will be expected to complete online modules prior to  session 1 and session 2.

Courses will be available throughout the year with the face-to-face session for each cohort rotating between different locations to allow more flexibility and access.
