Programme

19:00 : Introduction : Dr. Sonia Cherian, GP CPD Adviser 

19:05 : Presentation by Mr. Robert McColm, Lead Psychological Therapist for Psychological Trauma services 

20:15 : Q&A session

Learning Outcomes

· Improved knowledge about psychological trauma  

· Increased confidence in decisions regarding psychological referrals from primary care 

· Improved awareness of a trauma stepped care model to improve timely and appropriate treatment within the MDT 

2 hours of CPD credits can be claimed by participating delegates for their annual appraisal once the post-course evaluation/reflection is submitted. Certificate of attendance is not a requirement as evidence. 

To comply with SEALS (Standards for Educational Activity and Learning in Scotland), kindly complete the pre-course needs assessment at least 1 week prior to the event and post-course evaluation forms as soon as possible after the event.

This event will be accessible and recorded on Microsoft Teams.
